Kalonzo asked members of the Kamba community to remain united for the community to be able to grab the country’s leadership. He urged residents to isolate people out to mortgage the Kamba community.
He further said he was in talks with suspended CS Charity Kaluki Ngilu, the Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana on how to approach the coming election as a united and formidable force.
Kalonzo was speaking in Kitui when he led Governor Julius Malombe, Senator David Musila, five MPs and several MCAs in opposing Mutua’s Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement.
The leaders had converged at Kituti Secondary School in Kitui South for the homecoming party of the Athi ward MCA Peter Kilonzo.
