A young girl from Kamuti, Kyangwithya West whose name we have withheld was recently rudely dismissed by her area member of parliament when she paid him a visit at his office seeking his assistance to offset Kshs. 5,900 hospital bill for her ailing mother.
Makali Mulu the MP for Kitui Central Constituency surprisingly chased out the girl telling her to go back home and mobilize her people to raise the funds, that would see her poor mother discharged from Kitui County Referral hospital where the bill had accrued.
Luckily enough, on her way home she met with a bodaboda operator, one Giliki who advised her to visit one of the aspiring members of the august house in the area.
Sino who is an aspirant for Kitui Central Parliamentary seat was the guardian angel who bailed out the girl from her predicament. Sino offered the girl Kshs. 6900 to settle the medical bill and the extra Kshs. 1000 as transport back home.
It is not clear why the MP denied help to the young needy girl seeking a meagre amount to save her mother yet he swore to an oath to listen and serve on the concerns of his people.
