The concert at Bomas of Kenya flopped upon deportation of music maestro Koffi Olomide.

Fame and controversy have surrounded Congolese lingala maestro Koffi Olomide in equal measure as was revealed in his latest flopped tour of Kenya where he was caught on camera kicking a woman minutes after touching Kenyan soil.

Koffi Olomide received an outburst from the KOT after the assault video went viral with many demanding that the Kenyan police take action on the musician and asking Lingala lovers to boycott his show.

In the video Olomide is seen kicking off his female dancer only identified as Pamela and even charging at her in front of the Kenyan police and unperturbed by the media glare around him.

Koffi later apologized to the women folk saying he was only intervening to stop a fight between his two female dancers who had been locked in an argument.

The Kenyan police heard none of these and the musician was later arrested for causing disturbance, he spend a night in the cell and was deported on Saturday morning.

But this is not the first time the lingala music legend is being accused of mishandling his crew, in 2012 Koffi Olomide was given a three-month suspended prison sentence for assaulting his producer, while earlier same year Olomide had denied charges of raping three of his dancers in France.

These are not the only cases as some of his performances have been banned in some countries, and Kenya seems to have followed suit.
It is a lose-lose situation for Kenya as the grand music concert organized at Bomas of Kenya did not happen disappointing many Lingala fans who had purchased tickets for the show.
