Kitui business community and teaching fraternity have surprisingly mobilized over half a million shillings in a record two days in a beckoning call following the demise of one of their own.
Thursday evening at Moonlight hotel in Kitui town the mini-harambee that was hosted by a local comical emcee of Sauti Services saw the participants gather Kshs 540,000.
The funds drive was in aid of settling hospital bill and making burial preparation of the late Antony Mulandi, a young budding tech- entrepreneur who sadly succumbed to leukemia.
The deceased was a son to Mrs. Mulandi, Principal Itoleka girls – Kitui county.
May our good Lord rest Antony’s soul in eternal peace.
