Uai primary school in Mutomo, Kitui County has been a school full of drama in the last one week. Several pupils have been suffering unfairly in the hands of the head teacher snd area police officers.

It all started when the head teacher took the pupils to Mutomo police station citing that they had stolen his Tecno tablet from his office.

Parents have been denied chance to see their sons in the police station. They are wondering why the children haven’t been taken to court and it’s more than 24 hours since the children were arrested.

Parent’s effort to take their grievances to the police boss were fruitless as the juniors did not allow them to. They also tried to reach the area MP, Rachel Nyamai but in vain.

Sources privy to KO indicates that the tablet was taken by his Deputy head teacher in what is said to be fight for who’s who in the school.
