Kitui Governor H.E Dr Julius Malombe is facing yet another storm after weathering the crisis following the illegal purchase of County vehicles as well questionable job positions. This time he is in serious battle with the local contractors who are jointly demanding for equity and fairness in budget adjustments in various county projects, ward administrators offices.

KO has established that the contractors have threatened to sue the Governor for nonpayment/reluctant in the said projects in the 2013/2014 financial year. This was during a meeting held yesterday, 3rd November at 11am in Kafoca hotel, Kitui.

“We as contractors, have undergone trauma, stress and financial loss occasioned by the auctioneering of our properties used as collateral to obtain loans in order to complete county’s project(s),” Jackson Muli says.
