Most of Wiper aspirants who lost during wiper nominations did resign from the party and are vying for various seats independently.
According to Kitui Senatorial aspirant on Wiper ticket, Enoch Kiio Wambua these aspirant were never loyal to the party. He spoke last Friday at his home in Kabati town, Kitui West subcounty.
“After every nomination, these kinds of fallouts are expected. I want to assure the membership of Wiper there is no vacuum in the party whatsoever. For me, those exits are inconsequential and, to some extent, I would say some of them are good riddance,” Wambua said.
He received a heroe’s welcome when he returned home after being awarded the Wiper certificate in Nairobi.
Wambua’s sentiments comes at a time when Wiper Democratic Movement is shaken after top leadership resigned from the party. Top on the list is Kitui Senator David Musila, Machakos Senator Johnston Muthama, Machakos DG Benard Kiala.
