On Monday a section of Kamba leaders had met President Uhuru DP William Ruto at state house but things were not all rosy for ex Mwingi MP, Hon Joe Mutambu.
The clash began when Mike Sonko, Nairobi Governor took to the podium to push away former Mwingi Central MP Joe Mutambu. This is after the MP requested to have a private audience with Uhuru
“There should be no meeting to bring our people together over issues we can resolve as Kamba leaders. We either unite to deliver the votes or fail in our plans,” said Sonko.
Sonko’s sentiments were backed up by Maendeleo Chap Chap Party leader and Machakos Governor, Dr Alfred Mutua who said president should avoid political brokers and engage with elected leaders.
