Makueni County Government has acquired a new Fire Engine in a move to boost its emergency services.

The engine has a capacity of  4000 litre  of water and 1000 litres of foam.

Additionally it’s fitted with modern fire fighting tools, fog guns and a crew capacity of six.

No More Fire Disasters As Makueni County Buys Ultramodern Fire Engine

In a bid to ensure swift and enhanced fire emergency response, the County Government of Makueni has acquired a state-of-the-art fire engine.

The fire brigade boasts a 4,000-litre water capacity on top of 1,000 litres of foam.

Fitted with modern fire fighting tools, fog guns and a crew capacity of six, the machine comes as a major relief for the residents who have in the past been helpless against fire disasters.

In dead of night on March 7, 2016, a fierce fire gutted down the County Assembly offices.

The inferno, whose cause remains mysterious, completely destroyed the Speaker’s office, the Clerk’s office and the assembly chambers, reducing numerous properties and crucial documents to ashes.
