Party politics that dictate party’s involvement in county Assembly have ended with the seat of minority leader.
This is after the most powerful seat in county Assembly, Speaker.
In NARC’s recent elections in Kitui county Assembly saw Kitui rural MCA, Yatta/Kwa vonza ward John Mutuku Kisangau famously known as Mbaki Mbaki was elected as the Minority leader. He won with 7 votes vs 6 votes for Alex Nganga.
This means that Mbaki Mbaki will responsible for driving Ngilu’s agendas in the assembly. He will be deputised by Hon Alex Nganga who was leader of minority in the last assembly.
Other elected in various seats in NARC includes Annastacia mwathi as Minority Chief whip who will be deputised by Chuluni ward MCA James Mbuvi Wangunze Kula
