Raila’s move to withdraw from the repeat presidential election surprised many including his competitors, the Jubilee administration.
According to Yatta/Kwa Vonza MCA Hon John Kisangau Raila simply acted in the interest of many Kenyans who voted on 8/8/17.
“His withdrawal caught jubilee pants down as they were trying to amend the electoral laws to have Uhuru Kenyatta declared winner Incase NASA opted out of the October 26th poll” says Kisangau.
During NASA’s press briefing on October 10th both Raila and his running mate, Kalonzo Musyoka expressed unwillingness to participate in repeate polls with their irreducible minimums not met.
“Our principals are ready to pay the ultimate prize for this country Democracy and respect to the rule of law. We will never experience stealing of elections again in this country” Mbaki added.
