TSC releases Principals delocalisation programme to enhance National Intergration.

Come January 2018 more than 500 Secondary schools in Kenya will have new Principals and their deputies after Teachers Service Commision, TSC issued mass transfers notice.

The principals of 31 National schools in Kenya have also been transferred to other schools of equal stature by that TSC plan.

144 principals of Extra-County boys and girls schools have also been transferred.

KNUT Secretary General Hon. Wilson Sossion has totally opposed transfer of 557 school heads terming the idea as ill conceived as it can demoralise hard working teachers who may perceive the idea as punishment due to the poor performance registered by the affected schools.

On Tuesday 26th December, 2017 Hon. Sossion issued a statement directing the school heads to disregard transfer notices issued to them.

The affected school heads are Ms.Petronilah Maria of Muthale Girls in Kitui to St Marys High Egoji in Meru,Mr.Benson Somba of Makueni boys to Ribe boys in Kilifi, Ms.Ann K. Mwangangi of Mbooni Girls in Makueni to Siakago Girls in Embu.
