Devolution : Kitui CEC rejects claims of joining National Politics.

Kitui County CEC for Tourism and Sports Hon. Koki Musau alias Kuvasila has cautioned whoever is posting political issues on various social media platforms about the probability of her joining the politics in future.

This comes  after speculations emerged in various social media users over-discussed the issue of the County Minister to be eyeing an elective seat probably Senatorial or Mwingi West parliamentarian seat come 2022 General elections.

The Minister said that the campaign and the election period is over and now its time to work towards the full realization and delivery of Governor charity Ngilu’s  5- Pillar manifesto of Sustainable Food Production,Wealth Creation to ease poverty eradication,Provision of Clean adequate Water, Better Education and Women empowerment among other promises.

These are some of the promises the incumbent Kitui Governor during the campaign period.

The CEC expressed her willingness to fulfill the manifesto of the current Governor in place.She termed the current as the time to fully deliver to the prople of Kitui and now the best time to express the political aspirations and ambitions in future.

Hon. Koki Musau added that she shall with the support of county government utilize the available resources to boost tourism in the county. Within Kitui County there are several tourist attraction avenues that can boost the county economy and treasury such as Kitui South Game Reserve,Kola National Reserve in Mwingi and Nzambani Rock in Kitui Central constituency.

These among other sites can attract both domestic and external tourists from abroad. This can enable the county to generate enough revenue to cater for the other development projects in the county.
