Kitui Rural : Local Parliamentarian joins mourners of the Late Mzee Kitonyo.

Hon. Mwalika Mboni joined the mourners who had attended the burial of the late Mzee Kimanthi Kitonyo at his rural village of Masimbini in Kisasi Assembly Ward in Kitui Rural constituency.The function took place yesterday Saturday 3rd February, 2018.

“Mzee Kitonyo has been my friend since my childhood.Whenever I met him,he would remind me on importance of both humility and hard work to be successful in life.The late Mzee had made me succesful in politics. Its a big blow to me by his death. I have lost one of my closest friends ,supporter and an advisor… ” Hon. Mwalika said.

The legislator thanked the locals for voting him in as their area legslator and promised to fully deliver his manifesto which he promised them during the campaign period. He added that he is ready and willing to work with all elected leaders inspite of their political alignments for the sake of Kitui people. He added that the first priority of the elected leaders should be service and delivery to the electorates.

The legislator highly praised the late Mzee adding that a huge gap had been left which was difficult to fill.He praised him for the support both financial and the spiritual support that the late has been offering to him.He added that he had really lost one of his greatest friends ever he has met in life.

The Kitui Rural parliamentarian assured his people that by mid this month the National Government Constituency Development Fund NG-CDF shall be ready for release.He said that he shall priotise the printed and coloured bursary application forms for free to enable the needy students apply without incurring much expenses of cost.This shall enable students from the needy families get basic education with ease.

In addition to that,Hon. Mwalika assured the constituency residents that whoever shall apply for the constituency bursary shall be allocated an amount to help them clear their fee balances at the schools.He said that equity of all parts of the constituency shall be higly followed to ensure that all areas get represented in the allocations of NGCDF.

The law maker urged the locals in his constituency to apply for the bursaries immediately the application forms shall be ready so as to secure themselves a chance of being the beneficiaries of the same.The bursaries are made to benefit those needy students at secondary schools,Technical Training Institutes, Tertiary Institutions of learning, Middle level Colleges and the Universities.
