Ksh. 180 million set for bursaries in kitui county

8th Feb 2018: Kitui County Minister for Education, ICT and Youth Development, David Kivoto has today said that the County Government has set aside ksh.180 million for bursaries.

Speaking to the press in Mwingi town, Mr.Kivoto has said that the amount will cater for all the 40 wards within the county.

Parents have been to urged to help in bringing forth needy children so that they can benefit from this monetary award.

The Minister has clearly pointed out that the deed will be conducted following the right channels to ensure that the less fortune benefit.

He added that kitui county Government is ready to work with the youths.

“I challenge our youths to come together, form companies and register them under youth category. This will help them be able to apply for tenders and other jobs too” stated Mr. Kivoto
