Just hours after the court ruling on Friday 9,former Kathiani Member of Parliament Ms Ndeti announced that she would still pursue action against what she termed as oppression by an illegally instituted regime.
She issued a statement hours after Machakos High Court Judge Aggrey Muchelule upheld Governor Alfred Mutua’s August 8 victory.She then invited her supporters to join the Opposition pursuit to end fraudulent election.
“To our friends and the people on Machakos, I thank you for your support.
“Your vote didn’t count and that’s why i urge you all to join us in not recognizing the irresponsible,arrogant and disrespectful leadership of electoral thieves,”read the statement.
She went ahead and said that the initiatives by the National Super Alliance (NASA) would be the only solution in ensuring that future elections would be free and fair.
“I urge fellow Kenyans to sacrifice anything they can to end electoral fraud.It should not be too easy to steal an election.
“Through patrotism and delligence,we have been able to unite the biggest and the most patriotic coalition in the Kenyan history,NASA.We must stand together as a coalition and look into the future with renewed ooptimism,”Ms Ndeti stated.
