I support Raila, Uhuru meeting Dr.Gideon Mulyungi

Mwingi central member of national assembly, Dr. Gideon Mulyungi has today expressed his views on yesterday’s meeting at Harambee house in Nairobi that involved the head of state and NASA leader.

Addressing mourners at a burial ceremony in Kalisasi, Mwingi central of Kitui county, the legislator said that he supports the meeting because it is mainly aimed at uniting Kenyans.

Although we are not aware of what H.E Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga discussed about, I strongly second this move especially during this time where our country seem divided.” stated Dr. Mulyungi

However the Mp said that as wiper party,there are issues that they are not in agreement with the government. This include security and freedom of the citizens.

Uhuru and his team are used to going against the law. I urge the police to avoid use of live bullets and teargas to wanananchi whenever there is demonstration because it is their constitutional right to peacefully demonstrate.”  added Mulyungi

The Mp also said that the IEBC lot should go home inorder to have a peaceful election next season that is theft free.

Lastly, Hon Gideon stated that there will be no rift among the kamba community and that leaders will not stop at ensuring unity especially in Lower Eastern.
