The Kenya Post bank management in partnership with premier credit company,held a public education forum with their clients at the Kenya forest research institute (KEFRI)in Kitui town on Wednesday March 21.
Through their Managing Director, Sylvester Owour, post Bank said that,the bank had reduced their loan interest rates up to 2.5% in an avid to promote their client-relations as well as making their lives better.
The Managing Director noted that Post Bank had the sole aim of satisfying the needs of Kenyan people by eradicating high interest rates which have continuously plunged many Kenyans into poverty.
Owour further stated that their clients can now access loans payable for up to 24months so that they could improve their standards of living.
The loans, he said, could be used for starting small scale businesses citing that Post Bank will allow any person to apply for a loan even before he/she terminates the first one provided that they qualify for the same.
James Mugumbi, the Premier Credit Company’s Managing director also told the journalists that the company has awarded loans to over five thousand clients. This, he added, was aimed to continue improving their products in the Kitui market through reaching as many clients as possible.
