Governor Ngilu greets Manami Andachi, the widow of Tyrus Mwendwa

Former Changamwe Member of Parliament, the late Kennedy Kiliku’s son Tyrus Mwendwa was laid to rest on Saturday April 14, at his Kwa-Muli rural home in Mulango, Kitui Central Sub County.

The celebration of life was attended by politicians, clergy, professionals and hundreds of people from Kitui County and beyond.

The late Tyrus Mwendwa was involved in a fatal road accident while traveling with his lovely family at Ndii in Voi along Mombasa-Nairobi highway.

Tyrus attended Aga Khan and Ganjoni Primary Schools for his primary education. He later joined Baptist High School for his secondary education before proceeding to Augustana State University.

Until his demise, Tyrus worked as the Headquarter-zone gender representative at the Dock Workers Union in Mombasa after his election. Previously, the late served at Kenya Ports Authority in the Human Resource, department at different senior positions.

The late Tyrus Mwendwa left his wife Manami Adachi (Japanese Born) and one daughter Yuna Mwikali.

Kitui County Governor Charity Ngilu, Mulango Ward MCA James Nzamba, Chief of Staff Crispus Ileli, Bonnie Musambi of KBC News, Politician James Wambua Sino among other leaders attended the late Tyrus’ send off ceremony.
