Governor Mutua tops list of best performing governors

Machakos county governor Dr.Alfred Mutua has been named the best performing governor in a ranking that was shared by Captainx Lennox Xavier ahead of the fifth Devolution conference.

The Machakos county boss and Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement’s party leader outsmarted his 46 counterparts to emerge top, with the Laikipia county boss Ndiritu Muriithi coming second.

Mutua, who promised to change the infrastructure, education, security and other sectors of the economy before the completion of his second and final term in office, has been urging other leaders on the country to end the politicking and embark on working for Kenyans.

The Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader who has hinted at contesting for presidency in 2022, has maintained that he will remain committed to changing lives of Machakos residents.

The Makueni County Governor Kivutha Kibwana was ranked third while Kitui county’s Charity Ngilu came at position 37 to complete the Ukambani region county rankings.
