Kivutha is in Wiper to stay; Senator Wambua

Kitui Senator, Hon Enoch Kiio Wambua

The Kitui county senator Hon. Enock Wambua rubbished allegations that the Makueni county governor and Wiper party’s chairperson Prof.Kivutha Kibwana might be ditching the party.

While addressing the press in Kitui town on Sunday, the senator noted that the Wiper party is more solid than before adding that the recent meeting between Kibwana and Deputy President William Ruto does not in any way imply that the governor is ditching the party.

“People should get things clear, Kibwana isn’t ousting from Wiper. Whoever is wishing for that will wait for a long time before it happens,” Wambua said.

The Senator further said that the allegations are a propaganda from Wiper nemesis who aims at seeing the party crumble adding that the purported ‘handshake’ is part of the party’s resolutions to meet leaders in a bid to solicit support for Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s 2022 presidential aspirations.

Wanna however pointed out that, even if the governor decamped, Wiper would still remain unshaken and soar more and more.

“Wiper would still remain intact even if Kibwana opts to move out, but he isn’t going anywhere,” The senator added.
