Mwingi west member of parliament, Charles Nguna has urged the national government to fulfill it’s manifesto of free secondary education.
Speaking at Migwani town, within his constituency during the launching of a tree planting exercise,Nguna said that most parents within Kitui West voted in president Uhuru Kenyatta to mainly help them see their children living their dreams.
“I plead with the jubilee government through the ministry of education to act fast inoder to see our children better their lives through education”, said Nguna.
Residents from Mwingi west constituency have been encouraged to plant more trees within the areas to increase forest cover by 10% within the next five years.
“There is a reward for anyone who plants more trees within my area of command,” Nguna promised his constituents.
However, residents from Kakululo area complained of the bad state of road between Kakululo, Mutonguni urging the MP to intervene and help them move swiftly.
Commenting on the issue, Mr Nguna promised to push for classification of the road from county government to national under KERRA to ensure quick construction.
