Mwingi central MP commonly referred as Tsunami is calling upon all Kenyan leaders to rally behind President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto in their efforts of fighting graft following the ongoing graft allegations facing public officer in the National Youth Service and the ministry of Agriculture.
On an interview with journalists at Mwingi, Dr Mulyungi said that it’s now time that people take personal responsibility for crimes they have committed, hence the president should not hesitate in taking stern action against those people who have continued to embezzle public funds at the expense of poor Kenyans.
The legislator called upon all elected leaders to rally behind the president in ensuring that corrupt people in the government are brought to book.
On the stance of the Wiper party on joining the government, Dr Mulyungi differed with his party chair Kivutha Kibwana following his earlier claims that the wiper party was warming up to work with the government.
The legislator said that remarks by Mr Kibwana was just but personal opinion but not the stance of the Wiper Party as the executive council is yet to meet in order to chat the way forward for the party.
Mulyungi said that the position of the party currently is just to sit on the fence and weigh their options properly before deciding which side to join for a better alignment come 2022.
