Mwingi west Member of National Assembly, Charles Nguna has urged Devolution cabinet secretary, Eugine Wamalwa to consider his constituents who were also affected by the heavy downpour.
Speaking on Monday at Ngongoni primary School in Nguutani ward within his constituency where he issued development cheque worth Ksh. 500,000 Nguna pleaded with Eugine to distribute food stuffs and building materials to his people.
” CS Eugine kindly issue my constituents with food stuffs and building materials as you did to Mwingi North because some have been rendered homeless by the rains” Nguna pleaded.
In addition, the legislator has called upon the National government through its administration to ensure additional districts to his constituency.
“Migwani is very large as a district. Nguutani needs to be made a District so that services reach people at faster rates,” the legislator urged.
Nguna added that he has disbursed development cheques worth Ksh. 44 million across his constituency majorly in Primary and secondary schools.
” Security will be allocated a bigger share together with administration and I will also ensure AP lines across all locations within my first term,”he said
