Former US president Barrack Obama is set to arrive in the country on Saturday June 16, 2018 for a one-day tour of the country.

Obama remains in Kenya’s history as being the first sitting president of the United States to ever visit Kenya and is expected to hold talks with president Uhuru Kenyatta during his visit.

Before departing for South Africa to deliver the annual Nelson Mandela lecture at the Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg, Obama will make a tour of his home village K’ogello in siaya County.

during his last visit dubbed “Obama’s Homecoming” in 2015, the former states man held talks with  President Uhuru Kenyatta together with other top officials in the country.
