The Ford Kenya party through deputy party leader and former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale on Monday June 4, withdrew their support for Kalonzo Musyoka’s bid to talk to Raila.
Addressing the media on Monday, Khalwale said that the Wiper Leader spoke on his own behalf and not on that of Ford Kenya’s party boss Moses Wetangula, who is one of the co-principals for the National Super Alliance, NASA.
Khalwale further noted that Kalonzo Musyoka was not speaking on behalf of NASA as extemsive consultations have not been made in line with the proposed meeting.
National Super Alliance (NASA) affiliate party Ford Kenya expressed its reservation to meet the coalition’s principal Raila Odinga over his commitment to the opposition alliance as well, saying that the future of the opposition coalition now lies in limbo following recent activities by their ODM’s counterpart, Raila Odinga.
Ford-Kenya Deputy Party leader Boni Khalwale disowned a statement attributed to Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka as a mere personal opinion which does not represent the views of the NASA alliance accommodatingly.
