Leaders across the country have risen in the fight against corruption with NYS suspects already in police custody with investigations ongoing.
Machakos governor Dr Alfred Mutua has of late been very vocal in the fight against corruption despite facing challenges after his election as the Machakos Governor was nullified by the court of appeal early this week.
The governor has threatened to name the people involved in the maize scandal saying that he has the names of who syphoned public money made for farmers.

Early this week poisonous sugar was nabbed by police officers at Eastleigh area in Nairobi, packed ready for distribution.
Dangoreti MP Simba Arati has revealed that the owner of the sugar is an MP calling on the government to arrest and charge the owner.
“We know and have evidence showing that the sugar belongs to one of us in Parliament, We cannot let you wake up very early to vote for us and then use the back door to sell you products with elements such as mercury. If you all die, who will vote for us next time”
Speaking while at a fundraiser at his constituency Arati called on on the DCI to speed up investigations assuring residents the that owner must face the law.
This come days after President Uhuru Kenyatta has ordered for lifestyle audit on all public servants starting with him in a bid to fight corruption in the country.
