The Wiper Democratic Movement party under the leadership of Hon Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has resolved to rally behind the ruling Jubilee government.
Speaking on Saturday July 28, after the party’s NEC and Parliamentary group meeting, Hon Wavinya Ndeti(Machakos county governor hopeful), noted that Wiper stands with president Uhuru Kenyatta in the fight against graft.
The former Kathiani Member of Parliament took to social media to break the news, posting a summary of the meeting’s agenda and resolutions.
“The Wiper Democratic Movement-Kenya National Executive Council and Parliamentary Group, having met today at Wiper House in Nairobi resolves as follows;
We all know that corruption is endemic and deeply entrenched in our Nation and that it will take a united approach and bold effort to rout it once and for all. Our Nation has always been equipped to serve the needs of all Kenyans and spur economic progress, but rampant and systematic has been a major hindrance to the achievement of this goal.
We, therefore as a party laud the valiant efforts by His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta and his government to decisively deal with corruption and set the stage for the Big Four Agenda.
After Consultations with our greater membership and party structures and in the spirit of a united Kenya, we commit to work with President Uhuru Kenyatta in his fight against corruption as well as his broad agenda of transforming this country under the Big Four agenda which is part of Vision 2030.
God bless Kenya.”
