Matungulu member of Parliament Stephen Mule on Sunday accused the three Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commissioners of over stretching the Kenyans’ patience by walking back to the offices they had resigned from earlier.

Mule said that the commisioners had taken the joke too far and the IEBC offices were not public toilets where one enters and gets out as they wish.

“Stop taking kenyans for fools,go and cultivate since you resigned from your jobs and you can’t go back and spare us the dram”, Said Mule.
He said that the whole IEBC body requires reconstructing since their mistakes had taken a toll on the country.

He observed that the whole body requires reforming and they should take responsibility for their mistakes in the last general elections.

““Individuals cannot be allowed to play around with Kenyans’ minds” said Wandayi, adding that the commissioners were responsible for bungling last year’s general elections some people must take responsibility”, he said.

Two weeks ago, former Commissioners, Connie Maina, Margaret Mwachanya and Paul Kurgat who publicly resigned in April this year, were seen at the IEBC headquarters in a move that many believed was an attempt to claim back their offices.

Mule also reaffirmed that Treasury Cabinet secretary should suspend the 16%VAT on petroleum products and if not he will introduce a motion to impeach him from office.

He said that taxing is taking a toll on the common mwananchi who is struggling to get meals.

He spoke at Tala in Matungulu sub county of Machakos county after attending a church service at AIC Kasinga.
