Relief to Kitui locals as Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation in partnership with the Kenya Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeries, KSPRAS schedule free surgery services where the KSPRAS medical team will be camping at Mwingi Level IV Hospital and Tseikuru Sub-County Hospital for the exercise.The affected residents are urged to turn up in large numbers to benefit from this plastic and reconstructive surgery workshop.The surgery camp is set to kick off on Monday 26th November at the two stated points and come to an end on December 1st, 2018.
The six day camp targets the locals with cleft lip, cleft palate, chronic wounds, joint catractures, body deformities, scars among other minor body surgeries.Those living with these conditions or who know those living with the stated body conditions are hereby called to avail themselves for the check up.
The chief financiers of the event include Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation, Burn Society of Kenya, Wound Care Society of Kenya and the County Government of Kitui through the Department of Public Health and Sanitation among other donor bodies concerned with the same human body conditions sourced locally and inter-nationally.
The function has also received support from the county leadership led by the County Women Rep. Hon. Dr. Irene Kasalu, Mwingi Central MP Hon. Gideon Mulyungi, Hon Charles Nguna of Mwingi West and also Hon. Paul Nzengu , Mwingi North legislator who have vowed to work in unison for the success of the event .
