Kyome Thaana County legislator, Alex Wambua has heroically disputed Governor Ngilu’s remarks earlier today(Sunday 6/1/2019 ) that Mcas want to misuse county funds.
The Mca has warned the governor against lying to residents for soon the truth will be out.
Addressing congregants at AIC Kasina during ordination of Mwingi Area Bishop Rev. Timothy Kituo and Assistant Bishop Rev. Nicodemus Kyuli, Governor Ngilu accused county legislators of their quest to lavishly dissipate mwananchi’s funds by yearning to travel weekly to Mombasa for leisure.
“pray for our mcas to open their eyes for they do not want developments but want ME to take them to Mombasa every weekend…” Governor Ngilu said.
Speaking to Kitui Online moments after the event, Alex insisted on the necessity to tell Kituians the truth for very soon everything will be crystal clear for residents to see and judge.
” County assembly has its own finances and doesn’t depend on governor’s office money. If there is need to travel to Mombasa for consultative meetings, then we will go,” stated agitated Wambua
The first term Mca also emphasized on the Governor, Senator, and mcas to sit and formulate a way forward for Musangi to at least benefit from the Ngilu regime.
” our electorates need development, let’s sit and see how we can better our residents lives as we promised ” Wambua advised.
In conclusion, Alex posed a question to the county head,
“So if you will not take us to Mombasa, where is that money that we would have used for our leisure..?
Where are those earth dams you have helped construct with help of the relevant ministries using the ‘denied leisure money? “
