Inclusivity Speeds Up Development Mileage, Says Kitui MCA

Kivou ward MCA Hon. Charles Maema headed all the elected Mwingi Central wards’ representatives to the County Assembly of Kitui during the bursary allocation session on Saturday in Nuu ward an event that was graced by the area MP Hon. Gideon Mulyungi.Several needy students from across the constituency benefited from the NG-CDF bursary bulk that had been slotted to the education department by the CDF Board.

Speaking at the event, the MCA said the unity between the ward legislators and the County Executive as the only development thrust that would speed up the realization of the governor’s election pledges to the county electorates during the past campaign period.He further urged for equal allocation of development funds across all the legislative wards to equalize all the areas.

Maema challenged the Office of the Governor to consider inclusivity and engagement between the MCA and the County Executive Members for smoother administrative environment during Governor Ngilu’s tenure in office.

The MCA added that it would be hard to face their electorates in future polls after having accomplished almost nothing for the five years they will be in office.
