A section of Kitui Mcas held a press conference in Kitui town on Tuesday denouncing their support for former vice president accusing him of sidelining them in a leaders meeting held at Kalonzo’s rural home in Yatta, Machakos County.
Led by Minority leader, John Kisangau, the county legislators alleged that Kalonzo is a coward, a quality that is less of a national leader.
In response Mca Kalumaita said NARC elected leaders have clearly shown their true colors on their evil plans about Kalonzo.
“NARC leaders have proved to us they only pretended to back Kalonzo while they campaigned for Ngilu,” pointed out the first term Mca.
The county law maker who had accompanied the area MP, Charles Ngula in bursary disbursement, told the seven Mcas their sentiments are misplaced and have no basis.
“As Wiper leaders we are in full support of Kalonzo urging residents to back the Ukambani kingpin too in order to attain the leadership we yearn for,”the Wiper Mca stated
In addition, the Mwingi west Mca, clarified that what counts in the assembly is the resolutions to Kitui people accelerated by majority in the assembly not how many press conferences some leaders hold or the number of burial ceremonies they attend.
