Arresting CS Rotich indicates Kenya has no sacred cows and should vacate office immediately, Mulyung
Mwingi Central Mp, Gideon Mulyungi, said President Uhuru is acting on his sentiments he issued during the state of nation speech by proving that there are no sacred cows in Kenya.
His utterances came after Treasury CS, Henry Rotich was arrested alongside other officials and are facing graft charges.
“Those found culpable of theft should face full force of law and return stolen public coffers,” pointed out Mulyungi.
The legislator, further emphasized that those taken to court should leave office as per the President’s directive.
“I expect Rotich and his team to leave office to pave way for prosecution,” stated the vocal legislator.
