Ngilu said that the recent allegations only prove how non-committal the government is in addressing graft and that it was protecting powerful figures who are accused of corruption. She was speaking at the Milimani court during a mention of a graft case facing her
She further alleges that the government is engaging in political witch-hunt and not being genuine on the war against corruption.
Ngilu further noted that she will win the graft case levelled against her and continue serving the people of Kenya.
She is accused of obstructing justice and investigations at the Ministry of Lands by denying Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) detectives from accessing documents relating to the Karen land that was allegedly grabbed by powerful persons in the government.
