A sombre mood that engulfed the residents of Bungoma County during Jacob Juma’s body viewing ceremony at his home town was temporarily interrupted, when a man decided to treat the mourners to a spectacle; daring a rare ride into the sky hanging on a chopper that transported the corpse.
The pilot was keen to notice the unusual occurrence making attempts to save the man’s life, but odd enough he seemed unperturbed as he enjoyed his strange ride until danger sounded.
One Sale Wanjala who went into great trouble to exhibit his love for the slain hero was lucky to have a second lease of life, and is now recuperating at a local hospital after sustaining minor injuries to his face and hands.
The slain Jacob Juma’s burial ceremony is being held today Saturday 13th May 2016 at his home in Bumula Constituency, Bungoma County.
The deceased has been mourned by many from political leaders, family and friends who have termed him as an unrelenting fighter for justice.
The businessman was shot dead by unknown assailants in Nairobi on 5th May, 2016. Many have described his send- off as one that is befitting of a hero.
