Ukambani political songbird popularly known as Wa Maiyu has told Governor Malombe to stop using former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka’s name to seek endorsement for a second term in office and rather use his track record to woo voters ahead of 2017 General Elections.

In a song that sought to praise Malombe’s close challenger Senator, David Musila, Wa Maiyu has told the incumbent governor to stop using proxies who use Kalonzo’s name to campaign for his governorship.
The former Vice President and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is yet to reveal his preferred candidate for the Kitui gubernatorial race.

There is no doubt that the Kitui governorship seat will be among the most hotly contested seats in the county considering political bigwigs Senator Musila and Suspended CS Charity Ngilu have already declared their interest to dethrone the incumbent Governor Malombe who is equally prepared to battle it out at the ballot box.

Although Governor Malombe through his development initiatives has significantly garnered a huge number of supporters across the county, Senator David Musila has more popularity and has earned people’s trust through the years. The only lady challenger Charity Ngilu, has her chances too as people appreciate her outspoken spirit and agility to champion for the rights of her people.
