As the president prepares for his visit to Ukambani slated for mid next month, it remains unclear whether the former vice president and Wiper leader Kalonzo will be present to host the president.
The Wiper leader maybe absent on Monday when the president visits Makueni County as that falls on the day that CORD has scheduled to stage countrywide protests against IEBC Commissioners.
Wiper leader Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka in the previous halted visit by Commander in Chief is in record saying that he will be available to welcome Uhuru in Ukambani.
Monday has been a day synonymous with the CORD coalition protests, for the fourth time consecutively CORD have held demonstrations in what is being called the Anti- IEBC crusade in all major towns in the country.
Thus there is a likelihood that Wiper leader Kalonzo will be busy leading the protect and so may not be present to welcome the president as he tours Makueni County Monday 13th June.
However, some wiper leaders have also expressed disappointed for the president citing lack of communication and involvement in the whole issue despite the president visiting the Wiper’s stronghold.
