Five laid to rest in Mulundi, Kitui Central Sub county.

    It is with deep sorrow and disbelief that the residents of Kitui County gathered in a God set ceremony to bid farewell to their beloved ones who perished in a road accident on 9th June 2016 along Machakos Kitui road near Kyua market.

    Four died on the spot while the other succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital. The six were aboard a saloon car headed to their Kitui home to attend a family function when they met their untimely fatal end. The lady driver who was on the wheels however miraculously survived the ordeal.

    Leaders across all devides mourned with the family with Kitui Central law maker Makali Mulu terming their death as a unifying act of God to bring the leaders and residents together.”God brings things together, things like this for a reason. Let’s be united in grief and even there after” said Makali.

    Kitui County Governor Dr. Julius Malombe who assisted much in the send off preparations consoled with the family terming the five as angels who left so early to be in heaven. “This death is so untimely. But God is always justified, it is well . We believe they are peacefully heaven because they were staunch beleivers” said Malombe.

    The presiding priest charged the members of the family to be strong in this God during this tough time, and in fullness of time God will reveal His agenda.

    The lowering gear tore many hearts apart as five young heroes went down. May the LORD Rest their Soul in Peace.
