Budding entrepreneurs will have no excuses not to venture into business after the government launched a very efficient online portal that allows business-minded people to register and acquire company registration in an easy 3-step process.

Saying goodbye to long queues while trying to access government services and hectic engagement of advocates. With the eCitizen portal right at a click of a button, one can now have access to even more government departments for quick and easy services.

What’s even better, the payment mode has now been made easier and more convenient as all payments on the portal are made via an M-PESA PayBill number.

Launched in 2014, eCitizen is the one-stop portal for Government information and services. eCitizen pioneered to help Kenyan Citizens complete their transactions conveniently. eCitizen is an initiative by the Ministry of Finance and is managed by the ICT Authority of Kenya.

The e-Citizen portal has grown tremendously since it was launched in 2014. So far 1.23 million Kenyans have registered on the portal up from 400,000 Kenyans as at June 2015, while 2.4 billion shillings have been collected.
