Malombe said Muluvi who is Wiper party director of elections and Musila, who is the Wiper party chairman, hopes to rig him out in the party nominations are pipe dream.
He said this will not work because party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has assured members the primaries will be carried out by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.
“We will not be ignorant to sit and wait to have leaders interested on political positions oversee Wiper nominations within the county, we need a non-partisan independent body that has no inclination to any candidature for Wiper nomination.” Governor Malombe, who is seeking a bid for re-election said.
Malombe spoke while commissioning the Mwivaki borehole, which was sunk by the Kenya Defence Forces after the Former Chief Justice Mutunga made a request to Former General Karangi.
Mutunga hails is from the area. The borehole’s was also facilitated by the county government at a tune of Kshs.10 million.
The function was also attended by MP Muluvi, the Governor picked on him saying he must restrain himself from being partisan since he brags to be the Wiper Party Elections Director.
