Muungano party will back Wiper to ensure Kalonzo wins.

Makueni Governor Prof. Kibutha Kibwana and the party leader of Muungano which is among smaller parties in Lower Eastern region of Ukambani has said that his party will merge with the Wiper party to bring victory to Ukambani.

Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana said on Saturday July 16 that his Muungano party was ready to merge with Wiper Party to help CORD co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka in his quest to secure the presidential nomination.

“The tactic that many parties are using in other regions in order to ensure a win is consolidating their efforts to make one grand political movement, and for the sake of Ukambani win we must follow suit.” Kibutha added.

Kibwana said other regions were uniting to advance a common agenda. “As Kambas we cannot be left behind, and our poll bearer remains Kalonzo Musyoka,” Kibwana said.

He spoke in Emali town in Kibwezi West Constituency when he commissioned the construction of a modern bus park.The Standard reported.
