The official opening of the Kitui Agricultural Show and Trade Fair 2016 by His Excellency the Governor of Kitui Dr. Julius Malombe is slated for tomorrow July 22 at Ithookwe showground and cut-throat preparations have been running the whole week with exhibitors already on location.
Various exhibitors from parastatals to private companies have already pitched tents and are all set for the three-day fun-filled event, the annual show is expected to attract huge numbers of show goers who will be out for fun and to sample out variety of products and look for bargains.
The county is also on location and has assured the residents of maximum security at the show. The trade fair is meant to offer opportunities to national and local exhibitors to display their products and services while enhancing trade and investment.
The theme for this year’s show is “Enhancing Technology in Agriculture for Food Security and Sustainable Growth” the show will run from July 21 to July 23 where show goers will be required to pay an entry fee of Ksh. 150 for adults, Kshs. 100 for special groups and Kshs. 50 for students.
