Kitui East MP Muluvi lauded for touching lives

Mheshimiwa Kitui East MP Marcus Muluvi qualifies to be the Magufuli of Kitui, he is a man at the heart of the Kitui East residents who many have described as a ‘Kusema na Kutenda’ leader who delivers to his promises.

Last Saturday, MP Marcus Muluvi visited Malalani Mixed Secondary School in Malalani Location to officially open, a girls’ dormitory built through Constituency Development Fund and Parents Teacher Association under his supervision.

Normally day school students don’t sleep in school but when the honorable visited the school immediately after he rose to power, the honourable member noted the agony school going girls were going through walking long distances at night after night preps; some even had rented houses in the near-by Malalani market.

This exposed them to insecurity and made them easy prey, cases of school dropouts was rampant due obvious reasons among them, drug abuse, and early pregnancies.

This is how honourable member Mr. Muluvi offered to construct a girls’ dormitory, an idea that received overwhelming support from parents and residents who have since contributed to make the project a success.

On Saturday Mheshimiwa officially opened the completed dormitory block in an auspicious occasion attended by parents and other education stakeholders.

The MP also donated beds and mattresses and pledged to fund the school power wiring to facilitate smooth learning during the night.
