The former political advisor to the Governor, Charles Kyale has come out to reveal why he had no choice but to quit his well-paid position at the Kitui county government.
Kyale has cited Governor Malombe’s high-handedness and independent based approach as the reason he opted out.
Kyale said that working with Governor Malombe was one hell of a job for his three years under the county government. He says he had no option but to quit his job despite being relatively young.
“Although i am quite young and with many needs as a grown man, I am a young man with brains, I had to make the right decision for my own sake, it was difficult but a wise decision I had to make.” Kyale told a crowd in Migwani.
Kyale said that his advice fell on deaf ears even when the governor made political mistakes that would bring dire consequences to the county. It was only sooner that he realized that he had to jump the ship before too late.
“I had to make the delicate shift honorably for the sake of my demeanor and to maintain my respect with the governor of Kitui.” Kyale added.
He called on the residents to make the right decision during the next general election and elect people that will be able to listen and heed to advice.
The crowd burst into laughter when the former advisor likened the incumbent governor to a frustrated man who sires girls and needed to change strategy to beget a boy child.
Mr. Kyale was speaking at Migwani – Mwingi West where he had accompanied Senator David Musila along with other leaders, he said for a leader to deliver service to the people they must be keen on advise.
Kyale was the political advisor to the governor until May 2016 when he tendered his resignation letter asking to relinquish his duties.
