Kitui Governor Dr. Julius Malombe has told the incumbent Members of County Assembly to take advantage of his development record in order to secure their seat in the next general elections.

Malombe has said any MCA who will not back him in his re-election bid is likely to lose his seat. He called on the members of the county assembly to support him against his rivals Former Lands CS Charity Ngilu and Kitui Senator David Musila.

Malombe has exuded confidence that he would be re-elected by the people of Kitui for a second time for his development record. Malombe said he has kept his word and his record clearly precedes him.

He insisted that the development he has undertaken in the last three years is enough to guarantee the MCAs another shot if they are wise to take advantage.

The governor was speaking during a consultative forum between the county executive and the Members of County Assembly in Mombasa.
