The Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has told the gubernatorial aspirants Senator David Musila and the incumbent governor Julius Malombe to end the public spat that has been ongoing between the two.
The former Vice Presidents Kalonzo said the current public attacks between the two Wiper leaders does more harm than good to the party.
“The ongoing relentless fights between the two is wrecking the party.” Said Kalonzo.
The Wiper leader has instead told the two rival party members to exercise tolerance and stop inciting their supporters who have also been engaging in counter attacks on social media platforms.
The two leaders, senator and governor are members of the Wiper party, bad blood between the two developed after the senator declared his interest in the gubernatorial seat that is occupied by Malombe.
The two have now become sworn enemies engaging in constant public attacks during political rallies. Malombe has been doing rounds accusing Musila of being too old to manage county affairs while Musila has accused Malombe of having done nothing to show to his people after three years as governor.
Kalonzo has called on the two leaders to engage in responsible politics without apparent attacks, Kalonzo has however publicly avoided taking sides with either of the aspirants. He had been on record saying that he does not need to endorse any leader but the people will decide.
