Wrangles within the Wiper party in Kitui could be spelling doom to the party ahead of the next general elections.

A bitter war has been raging between the Wiper party national Chair David Musila and Wiper leader Julius Malombe since the former declared his interest in the Kitui governoship seat.

The two have now put the Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka at crossroads, SKM’s silence on his preferred aspirant that brought so much tension in the house at a time that the party needs to be neatly knitted together.

“A house divided cannot stand. Going by utterances by three wayward Wiper MPs who are the masterminds of Musila’s futile gun for Governorship, Wiper Party may be on its death throes.” PRO Kitui County government Mr. Munyasya observed.

He added that its surprising that while ODM, Wiper Party senior brother, is going flat to bring harmony into the Orange party, Wiper MPs are fanning the fires of division.

“I bet this party may be dead as a dodo before the big day.” He added

“Just take a look at the goings on in Makueni and Machakos. This is a mark of poor leadership and Musila must now resign and allow fresh ideas into the party management. Otherwise as Kalonzo said, he’s tearing the party into smithereens” He observed.
