Ngilu’s Narc Party dissolves to join Jubilee party

The National Rainbow Coalition seems to have pulled a surprise card at the most unforeseen time, the Charity Ngilu led political party has finally dissolved to join Jubilee Party two days to the grand launch of the merger.

The Narc Party is said to be among the political parties who have assembled their national delegates at Kasarani for a delegates conference ahead of the launch at the same venue on Saturday, August 10.

Ngilu had earlier denied any intentions of dissolving her party to join the grand party.

The Jubilee coalition that formed the ruling government in 2013 initially comprised of TNA, Ruto’s URP, Kiraitu Murungi’s Alliance Party of Kenya, Charity Ngilu’s National Rainbow Coalition and Najib Balala’s Republican Congress.

Some of the other members who have forming the merger include Grand National Unity, the Democratic Party, Ford People, Chama Cha Mzalendo, Tip Tip Party and the Agano Party of Kenya.
