A Machakos businessman has threatened to sue a kitui east aspiring MP Nimrod Mbai over a debt amounting to KES 500,000. Nimrob Mbai is currently a Machakos County senior officer.
Kang’aatu who owns a petrol station in Machakos town said the Machakos County staff has a personal fuel bill accumulating to Kshs 500,000 . He said the arrears are for several months.
Through a letter to Nimrod Mbai dated September 5, Kang’aatu said that he will be moving to court to claim his dues.
Kang’aatu further said that Nimrod has never settled the bill which in turn has put him at logger heads with the bank where he acquired a loan facility to set up the facility.
“I cannot trust Nimrod again and I will seek orders to auction some of his property to settle the bill”
Kang’aatu is now preparing to seek court orders to compel Nimrod to settle dues.
